The story begins with four friends who reunite for a Caribbean diving adventure: Jack, a former Navy pilot turned private aviator; Maya, a passionate marine biologist; Cole, an ex–Force Recon Marine; and Evan, a restless tech entrepreneur. A simple escape from the ordinary quickly becomes an extraordinary expedition when the team chases rumors of a hidden reef thriving beneath the Amazon River’s outflow. Their discovery of a remarkable and little-known ecosystem is soon overshadowed by a sudden military invasion across the Guianas, leaving them trapped behind enemy lines. As conflict spreads and their lives are at risk, the group must draw upon their unique skills, courage, and friendship to protect their discovery and each other and ultimately fight for humanity’s conscience.
