Tactical 16 Signs Tom Hruby and James Pomerantz for
“The Rogue Breacher: Violence Doesn’t Disappear, It Gets Reassigned”
In The Rogue Breacher, FBI Special Agent Deklan Novak returns to confront one of his darkest and most personal cases yet to pursue long-overdue justice for two innocent children.
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Tactical 16 Publishing announced today the signing of James Pomerantz and Tom Hruby for The Rogue Breacher: Violence Doesn’t Disappear, It Gets Reassigned. This novel is the second installment in a planned three-book series, following The Breacher’s Playbook. Both books can be purchased at T16, the publisher’s book buying website: https://t16books.com/.
“The search for two abducted children becomes the catalyst for a deeper pursuit of accountability in our new novel, The Rogue Breacher,” said Pomerantz and Hruby. “Deklan Novak, a former Navy Seal, returns in his role as a special agent for the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children squad. He finds that what happened to Layla and Luca Stanley changes everything—and the pursuit of those responsible carries a weight he cannot ignore.”
Deklan’s investigation uncovers ties to Chicago Outfit (Mafia) affiliates operating beneath the city’s historic freight tunnel system. He is recruited by a former mentor into a privately funded force composed of elite Special Operations veterans and intelligence specialists, entering a world where justice is delivered quietly, swiftly, and without hesitation.
“The Rogue Breacher is one hell of a ride! Non-stop action that is simply riveting,” said Chris Schafer, CEO at Tactical 16 Publishing.
Hruby served for 10 years in the Navy, graduating from SEAL Training, Army Airborne School, and SEAL Qualification Training. He was also a SEAL instructor and played linebacker in the Big Ten for Pat Fitzgerald at Northwestern University as a 32–34-year-old Navy SEAL veteran.
Pomerantz, a University of Missouri-Journalism alumni, is the author of six
novels and two biographies. His most recent novel is Camelot’s Secret Legacy, a historical novel that asks the question: What if JFK and Marilyn Monroe had a daughter and she never knew her DNA lineage until she was in her forties? A story that doesn’t debate what was lost but celebrates what made it such a mythical castle.
