Tactical 16 Publishing Named as a National Fraternal Order of Police 65th National Conference Sponsor

Colorado Springs, Colo. – – Tactical 16 Publishing, a veteran-owned national publisher, announced today it will be one of the sponsors of the National Fraternal Order of Police’s (FOP) 65th National Conference and exposition in Indianapolis from August 15-19, 2021.

“We’re so honored to be part of the National Fraternal Order of Police’s long-standing conference,” said Chris Schafer, CEO at Tactical 16 Publishing. “We support first responders and their families and are so proud of their efforts in small and large communities across our great nation.”

More than 5,000 law enforcement officials and their families from all over the country are expected to attend the event, including police chiefs, sheriffs, training officers, criminal investigators, federal officers, and correctional officers. The conference is hosted by the Indianapolis FOP Lodge 86. Tactical 16 Publishing will have a booth set up in the convention center’s exhibit hall for participants to learn more about how they can begin the process of telling their personal stories and get the chance to interact with many of the publisher’s authors.

“The conference presents a unique opportunity for us to support the men and women who risk their lives daily to protect their respective communities,” the National FOP said. “Our passion and rich history have allowed us to be the voice of American’s law enforcement officers for 106 years.”

Tactical 16 Publishing, a non-traditional publisher, started in 2012 and has produced over 40 titles. It offers everything from editing to graphic design to formatting to marketing. The company recognizes the therapeutic value of writing and provides customized publishing plans to serve veterans, active duty military members, military spouses, and first responders.

There are two parts to the organization’s name, Tactical and “16.” Tactical refers to the armed forces, police, fire, and rescue communities. The “16” is the number of acres destroyed on September 11, 2001 at Ground Zero. The organization has published books across all genres for children and adults, including works related to leadership, business, self-help, and memoirs.
